Kids Corner: Colorful Caterpillar Clothespin

Craft Materials (Makes One):

1 Wooden clothespin 

6 Multicolor (quarter inch or 1 inch) pom-poms 

2 Wiggly eyes (small size 1 cm)

1 pipe cleaner

Paint/paint brush optional

Hot glue gun 

Scissors 

Directions:

Step 1: Paint a clothespin completely with any color (this part is optional). Repeat this step for each caterpillar you want to make. Let it dry.

Step 2: Depending on the size of your pompoms, glue 5 or 6 pompoms along the side of your clothespin. Wait for the glue to dry.

Step 3: Add the googly eyes to your caterpillar.

Step 4: Glue a tiny pompom for the nose. Let it dry.

Step 5: Bend the pipe cleaner to form an antenna.

Step 6: Glue the antenna on top of the pompom with the wiggly eyes.
