Kitchen Tune-Up Fredericksburg & Stafford: Crafting Dream Kitchens with Care and Integrity

Standing for excellence in kitchen remodeling, Kitchen Tune-Up is a realized dream for three local brothers. Owned and operated by brothers Zach, Matt, and Jake Lethbridge, the company offers services tailored to fit customers' budgets and needs, including cabinet wood reconditioning, painting, redooring, refacing, and new cabinetry installation.

The story of Kitchen Tune-Up is one of a collective dream and shared passions. Established in July 2021, the business was born from the brothers' desire to build something together and positively impact their community. Each brother brings their unique skill set and past experiences to the table, seeing kitchen remodeling as an exciting opportunity to serve the residents of Fredericksburg and Stafford.

"At our core, we believe in treating our customers' and their homes with the same level of care, respect, and integrity as if they were our own," said Zach. "We strive to find the best solution for the homeowner, ensuring their satisfaction and peace of mind."

For the Lethbridge brothers, Kitchen Tune-Up is more than just a business; it's a family affair built on a shared sense of purpose. “Despite the inevitable challenges of running a family-owned business, we enjoy working with each other and the Kitchen Tune-Up team," Jake explained. "When we were growing up, the kitchen was the place where we always came together for dinner and shared about our day. I think it's because of the value we place on that time that we find fulfillment in helping people make their kitchens work for their unique needs and be a place where they can gather as family."

Their commitment to serving the community extends beyond their business operations. The brothers deeply support young adults and aspiring entrepreneurs through their partnership with Spotsylvania County Public Schools (SCPS) Career & Technical Education (CTE) Program.

“We believe in the CTE’s mission and strongly believe in the importance of highlighting the value of the trades to our local communities and country as a whole. One way we show support is through the ‘SCPS CTE Student of the Month’ Program,’” Matt said. “Every month Kitchen Tune-Up and CTE, through social media and the radio on B101.5, highlight a student that has gone above and beyond during their studies.”

The Lethbridge brothers emphasized that they have been fortunate to hire several of these highly skilled professionals who have undergone such training in the trades, ensuring that they possess the expertise needed to excel in their role.

“Several employees have been truly integral to the company's growth and have in many ways even become like family,” said Zach. “Their commitment to continuous learning and mastery of their craft is evident in the exceptional quality of work they deliver, making them an invaluable asset to our company.”

Aside from being veterans themselves, the brothers have also dedicated themselves to fostering a community that values and supports the contributions of other veterans. Their commitment to hiring veterans is centered on not only recognizing the unique skills, discipline, and dedication they bring to the workplace, but also contributing to the well-being and prosperity of the veteran community.

Kitchen Tune-Up's commitment to excellence and community involvement has not gone unnoticed. In 2022, the brothers were honored with the prestigious Franchisee of the Year award by the International Franchise Association (IFA), recognizing their dedication to the trades and support for the veteran community.

"We are proud to be recognized for our efforts, but our greatest reward comes from the satisfaction of our customers and the positive impact we make in our community– both the veteran community and our local community," said Matt.

As they continue to grow and expand their business, the Lethbridge brothers remain grateful for the unwavering support of their parents.

“We are where we are today because of our parents,” said Jake.

“We are blessed and fortunate to have been raised by them and are here in this community and in business together because of their love, sacrifice, and guidance,” added Zach.

If you’re out and about in Fredericksburg or Stafford, don’t be afraid to say ‘Hello’ to these gentlemen or their families. “We truly make the work day fun by treating our customers like they are part of the Lethbridge family…the Kitchen Tune-Up family,” said Matt.

If you’re in the market for a kitchen remodel or quick “tune-up,” give the Lethbridge brothers a call at Kitchen Tune-Up.
