Ara Der-boghossian has been an integral part of the moving industry for 14 years. Six years ago, in 2018, he decided to take a significant step by founding Precision Home Movers. The inspiration behind this venture stemmed from his personal experience. 

"I started as a mover to help earn income as my wife and I started a family," Ara explained. Over time, he found himself captivated by the profound impact he could have on people during one of the most stressful events in their lives. "I grew to love the feeling of helping people during such a stressful process as moving by providing excellent moving and customer service."

At the heart of Precision Home Movers lies a simple, yet powerful, philosophy: delivering high-quality customer service with top-notch skill and efficiency on every single move. Ara's personal touch and dedication to customer satisfaction are evident in every aspect of the business. 

"My goal during every interaction with my customers is to ease their worry by handling their belongings as if they were my own and treating everyone with the utmost respect," he emphasized. This approach has garnered the company numerous high ratings and positive reviews online, reflecting their commitment to excellence.

Ara draws his greatest inspiration from his faith. "My greatest inspiration in life is Jesus Christ. I try each and every day to follow His teachings about love for others and caring for those around me," he shared. This belief system seamlessly integrates into his work ethic, where each new move becomes an opportunity to embody his values through hard work and dedication.

Ara’s care and concern is evident in every interaction, and he wholeheartedly believes in his mission. 

"I appreciate the opportunity I’ve been given in this life to share my strong work ethic with this community,” he said. “My driving force each day is to give every obstacle my absolute all so I can be proud at the end of the job I have accomplished." For Ara, a fulfilling life is one spent in service to others, and this belief continuously drives him to strive for excellence in his business, ensuring he provides the highest level of moving services possible.

One of the most rewarding aspects of owning Precision Home Movers is the chance to help others while working alongside a team that shares his passion.

"It is a blessing to work hard to help others alongside a crew of friends that I have personally trained and love their work as much as I do." Ara has assembled a crew that is not only dedicated and reliable but includes some of his best friends.

 "We have the biggest laughs in the truck to-and-from each move, sharing inside jokes and keeping up on each other's lives," Ara explained. Maintaining high morale among his team is a priority, and he is always seeking ways to keep his crew happy while they deliver outstanding service. This camaraderie extends to their interactions with customers. 

"Every day, when we arrive at a customer’s home, we greet them with a sincere smile and excitement for the challenge ahead."

Behind the scenes, Ara's wife, Ashly, plays a pivotal role in managing the business while also homeschooling their six children– with a seventh on the way. The family leads a busy but fulfilling life, balancing their business responsibilities with personal interests. 

"Ashly manages the backend of the business, a large garden, rabbits, dogs, and whatever else comes her way," Ara noted. In their free time, the family enjoys outdoor activities and cozy family movie nights. They are active members of their local church, with the children participating in the choir and other community activities such as taekwondo and soccer.

Those same attributes his children develop through their various activities are the ones Ara is most proud to instill in his business as well: humility, compassion, drive, and dedication.
