Happy 4th Anniversary, Stafford Living!

We're celebrating FOUR years of Stafford Living magazine. We love bringing people together. Hopefully, from our featured neighbors you've learned that many of us are more alike than we are different. Here's a look back at some of the wonderful people that make Stafford a great place to live:

November- Linda Osorio
Linda Osorio's life has been shaped by her experiences as the daughter of Colombian immigrants and as a mother to three children, including her son Curwood, who was diagnosed with autism at age three. Despite initial denial about her son’s diagnosis, Linda focused on understanding Curwood's unique communication style, discovering his love for music and movement as a way to connect with him. This journey inspired her to create a unique approach to engaging with autistic children, emphasizing the importance of play and communication through movement.

Motivated by her experiences, Linda founded Happy Yoga Shapes, a program designed to help parents connect with their autistic children through yoga and mirroring techniques. Her innovative methods have not only benefited Curwood—improving his communication skills and social interactions—but also helped many other parents learn to engage with their children in meaningful ways. Linda’s commitment to her community is further reflected in her wellness ventures, including Bear River Massage Therapy and House of Yoga Academy. With a belief that nothing is impossible, she aims to enrich the lives of those around her, especially those on the autism spectrum, in Stafford.
