Thistle Medical Skincare Studio is a boutique medical spa located in Stafford, Virginia started in May of 2018 and is the home of your skin experts in medical facial aesthetics and skincare. Our team of aesthetic professionals strive to be your “beauty best friends” (as a client had once mentioned) where we believe in a no-pressure approach to skin care that’s attainable for everyone! The Thistle team will create a customized treatment plan that best fits each client’s individual skincare goals, whether it be aging skin, targeting sun damage, facial rejuvenation, acne, or many other common skincare issues. Our team always continues education, learning the safest and latest industry techniques, and prioritizes patient safety to provide subtle and natural yet impactful results.

At Thistle Medical Skincare Studio, our first priority is you. Our mission is to cultivate not only a relationship but a beauty friendship with each of our clients. We pride ourselves in taking each client’s aesthetic journey step-by-step through subtle enhancements without over selling or over treating. (Even Rome wasn’t built in a day!) Our goal is that you leave our studio with the knowledge to take care of your skin at home and be a radiant and more confident YOU. We welcome you with a charming and warm environment while partnering with you to achieve your skincare dreams.
A little more about our owner and founder, Aubry.
Thistle Medical Skincare Studio is founded and owned by Aubry Blais, RN and CANS, a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist, accredited by the Plastic Surgical Nursing Certification Board. She has had the pleasure of boosting confidence in women for over 17 years!
Prior to opening up Thistle, Aubry started her career in nursing as an Army Nurse at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and is proud to have served her country! After her time as an army nurse, Aubry transitioned into the aesthetic side of healthcare in 2005 and has found her passion in helping her clients look as great as they feel. Before becoming a nurse, she attended the Art Institute of Portland, which has cultivated her artistic approach to medical aesthetics. Thistle was her creative outlet and the perfect blend of her passion for art, hosting, and aesthetics while incorporating a sense of community and gathering (plus a sprinkle of fun) into her business.

Thistle started off as a one woman show and has grown to include a talented and dedicated team of women! Our team works together in supporting, offering treatment pearls, and uplifting one another to bring kindness and positivity into our everyday operations. We work as a team to create the best possible experience for our patients by actively listening and offering attainable solutions for the everyday woman. We love supporting and uplifting our team members, our patients, and other woman owned businesses. There’s always a seat at our table!
