Cleaning with Zoey: A Family-Oriented Cleaning Service You Can Trust

Daly Martinez, originally from Mexico and a Fredericksburg resident for the past 18 years, is the proud founder of Cleaning with Zoey, a residential cleaning company named after her daughter. Daly and her longtime friend and business partner, Abraham Martinez, run the business with a shared commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and creating a work-life balance that prioritizes family.

After spending over 15 years in the restaurant industry, Daly and Abraham decided to make a change. Their motivation came from a desire to have more flexibility in their schedules, to have more time with their family, and to build something of their own. Daly, especially, wanted to demonstrate that women can have the “best of both worlds”—caring for children while also contributing financially through entrepreneurship. "I wanted to prove that women can be successful business owners while raising a family," Daly says. "It’s about independence and showing that you can balance both."

With this in mind, Daly began cleaning homes for friends a few years ago. Since then, she’s turned her desire to help others into an insured and bonded company serving the Fredericksburg area and Spotsylvania and Stafford counties.

A Customer-Centric Approach

At Cleaning with Zoey, customer satisfaction is the top priority. Daly and Abraham believe that trust, respect, and quality are the pillars of their business. "We value the relationships we build with our clients, and we’re there to do a thorough, quality job every cleaning" Abraham notes. "We’re there to make their lives easier and leave every home sanitized, fresh, and thoroughly cleaned.”

They offer a range of cleaning services, including deep cleaning, recurring cleanings, and move-in/move-out cleanings, with a focus on thoroughness, quality, and customer satisfaction. They take the time to tailor each cleaning to the unique needs of their clients. During the free estimates they offer, they review factors like allergies and cleaning product preferences to ensure a safe and customized experience.

Eco-Friendly and Pet-Friendly

In keeping with their focus on family and environmental responsibility, Cleaning with Zoey uses eco-friendly products and avoids harsh chemicals in their work. They bring all the necessary supplies and provide sanitization services to help families maintain a healthy and clean living space. "We pride ourselves on using products that are not only effective but safe for kids and pets," Daly says. "Our clients really appreciate that, especially those with allergies or sensitivities."

As a pet-friendly company, they understand how important pets are to their clients and ensure a comfortable environment for them as well. "Many of our clients have pets, and we love being able to help keep their homes clean without using harsh chemicals," adds Abraham.

Building Trust Through Service

Daly and Abraham emphasize punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic in their business. "We believe in showing up on time and getting the job done right," Abraham explains. "It’s not about rushing through; it’s about doing a thorough job every time." Daly echoes this sentiment: "Our goal is to build long-term relationships with our clients. We want them to feel comfortable trusting us with their homes."

With plans to expand into commercial cleaning in the future, Daly and Abraham are excited about the growth of Cleaning with Zoey. For now, they remain focused on providing the best possible service to their residential clients. First-time customers can currently take advantage of a 20% discount on their cleaning services.
