Kids Corner: Easy Construction Paper Flowers

Materials (for one flower): 

1 Color construction paper 9”X12”
3 sheets of different designs floral pattern 6”X6”
Ribbon
Pencil
Ruler
Scissors
Glue
Staple

Directions:

Step 1: Fold 1 piece of construction paper in half (hotdog way).

Step 2: Place the folded construction paper horizontally and draw straight lines about 1
inch vertically making 12 lines as shown in the picture.

Step 3: Cut the side where the lines are to make fringe.

Step 4: Using the different floral design sheets, cut out 2-inch flowers. (24 flowers)

Step 5: Roll up the construction paper that you glued the flowers to, like a toilet roll.
Staple the end to hold it together.

Step 6: Glue the 2-inch flowers at the end of the fringe of the construction paper. Let the
glue dry.

Step 7: Roll up the construction paper that you glued the flowers to, like a toilet roll.
Staple the end to hold it together.

Step 8: Tie a bow with a colored ribbon.
