Kids Corner: DIY Paper Pumpkin
Kids, you probably see your family getting ready or prepping for Thanksgiving this November. This is a fun activity to contribute to Thanksgiving prep in the form of a DIY centerpiece.
Materials:
Either an empty toilet paper roll or a paper towel roll
Orange construction paper
Scissors
Glue
Green Marker
Directions:
Color your empty paper roll with the green marker to make your stem.
Get the orange construction and cut long strips, at least 12 pieces.
Grab your glue and start gluing one end of the strip from the bottom to the middle of the roll and continue doing that until you form your pumpkin.
Once you’re done, find the perfect place on the table to place your centerpiece.
Tip: Write something you are thankful for on each strip.
