Pro Service Plumbing & Gas: Serving Stafford with Innovation and Integrity
Since 2021, Ryan Deane and his wife, Ellie, have been at the helm of Pro Service Plumbing & Gas, a family-owned business serving Stafford and the surrounding areas. Specializing in residential and commercial plumbing and gas services, Pro Service Plumbing & Gas can flush any problem. Their expertise ranges from fixing small leaks and water heater repairs to installing gas lines and replacing underground sewer systems. For Ryan, the journey of running a business has been as rewarding as it is challenging.
"After parenthood, helping run a business is the most rewarding and challenging thing I've done in my life," he says.
Ryan's path to plumbing wasn't a straightforward one. A Brooke Point High School graduate, he admits he didn't have everything figured out at 18:
"I didn't have a clue to the answer to that question everyone asks: 'What do you want to be when you grow up?' Talk about procrastination at its finest," he jokes. Eventually, he found his way into the trades, and plumbing quickly became his calling.
"I found out quickly that plumbing is not for the faint of heart—or stomach," Ryan laughs. Over the last 13 years, his career has taken him across the country, from Virginia to Minnesota and Massachusetts, before bringing him back home to Stafford.
The philosophy behind Pro Service Plumbing & Gas is rooted in a simple principle from scripture, Matthew 7:12: "Do to others what you would have them do to you." This guiding verse reflects their commitment to providing quality work and treating customers with respect.
"Our priority is ensuring you and your family have the basic necessity of a working plumbing or gas system," Ryan explains.
No two days in the plumbing business are alike, and that's one of the things Ryan enjoys most about his work.
"Whether it's changing a kitchen faucet one day or helping build a world-class hospital the next, just when I feel like I've seen it all, this line of work still finds a way to surprise me," he shares. He thrives on the constant challenges and opportunities to learn and adapt.
"I enjoy the challenges I get from this business," Ryan says. "Nothing stays the same for long, and you have to adapt fast or get left behind."
Outside work, Ryan, Ellie, and their three children enjoy rock climbing at Rapp Rocks in Fredericksburg.
"It's a fun activity that challenges the whole family, and everyone enjoys it—even the three-year-old!" he says.
For Ryan and Ellie, Pro Service Plumbing & Gas isn't just a business they've built— it's their way of serving the community they love.
"We're here to serve Stafford, no matter how big or small the problem," Ryan emphasizes. With their dedication, expertise, and a touch of humor, they continue to make a difference, one plumbing system at a time.
