Parents Education Corner: Tips from a Local Superintendent

I recently had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Thomas W. Taylor, Superintendent of Stafford County Public Schools. I asked Dr.Taylor if he could give two tips to parents, what would they be? His response is below.

Tip 1: “Get smart on Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools. Find out what tools your kids are using for AI and have a discussion with them.”

Tip 2: “Make sure you have a relationship with your kids' teacher.”

Teacher Appreciation Week is from May 6th to May 10th.

“Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students, and enthusiastic parents with high expectations.”
